There are so many things that we assume others know and understand but really don’t. The humor in the above quote masks some potentially knotty situation. Think about a miscommunication, a misunderstanding between an adult and child. A time when one assumes understanding on the part of the other that the other doesn’t have. The misunderstanding could be on the part of the adult or the child. Write about it!
